Through immersive storytelling, interactive experiences, inspiring photography and models, bird-safe building materials, video and bird-related artifacts from local Chicago organizations, Flyway City: Architecture for a Flourishing Ecosystem reveals how design choices can significantly reduce harm to birds while strengthening a city’s overall ecological health for people and other living creatures.
Co-curated by world-renowned architect Jeanne Gang and her Chicago-based practice Studio Gang in collaboration with the Chicago Architecture Center, the innovative new exhibition invites everyone to take part in making Chicago a leading Flyway City and a flourishing ecosystem for all by offering inspiration and scalable solutions for design that works in concert with nature.
